Business overview:
Ukrsibbank, Ukraine’s fifth largest bank by assets as of end-2009, is 81.4%-controlled by BNP-Paribas Group with the balance owned by Olexsandr Yaroslavsky, a local businessman. The bank serves retail and corporate clients via more than 850 outlets across Ukraine. Its lending portfolio is currently dominated by retail loans, which accounted for 62% of the total portfolio as of end-2009. Retail and corporate deposits made up 24% and 10% of the bank’s end-2009 funding base, respectively, with the remainder originating from the parent bank and through Eurobond issuances. Ukrsibbank has three outstanding Eurobonds for a total of US$ 0.95bn maturing in 2010 and 2011.
