Business overview:

Ukreximbank is fully state-owned and Ukraine’s third largest bank with assets of US$ 7.2bn as of end-2009. Over 97% of its loan book is concentrated in the corporate segment – export-oriented and government-controlled companies are the bank’s key borrowers. The bank also acts as a government agent in implementing export support and trade finance programs. Customer deposits accounted for 42% of the bank’s non-equity funding with the remainder attracted via Eurobonds and IFIs loans. The bank boasts a strong capital base which was generously supported by the government via a number of share issues for a total of US$ 0.9bn in 2009 and US$ 0.8bn in 1Q10. Ukreximbank has three outstanding Eurobonds for a total of US$ 875mn maturing in 2011, 2012, and 2016.
