Energy holding DTEK (DTEKUA) yesterday reported 1H10 operational numbers: coal production gained 13.4% y/y to 9.7mmt, including 23% y/y growth in thermal coal to 8.6mmt, while electricity generation grew 21.6% y/y to 14,165mn kWh, including a 20.6% gain at GenCo Dniproenergo (DNEN). DTEK reported Ukrainian market shares of 26.3% in coal production (+1.9ppts h/h), 49% in thermal generation (+3.3ppts), and 8% in electricity distribution (+0.3ppts).
